Five miles from downtown Las Vegas, the 1,876-room Tropicana Hotel and Casino includes a health spa containing a fitness center, saunas, steam rooms, eight-person spas, and tanning facilities. Sliding-glass doors separate a 1,500-square-foot heated indoor pool from the outdoor swim-up bar area.
Additional facilities and services include a golf desk, a business center, and a video-game arcade. Swim-up blackjack is available. Texas Hold’Em Poker, a seven-card game made famous by the Travel Channel and ESPN, is also offered at the hotel. Various table limits are offered for novice to experienced players. $1-$3, $2-$6, and no-limit Texas Hold’Em are spread daily.

The Tropicana offers a total of 1,876 guestrooms in the Paradise Tower, the Island Tower, and the Garden Tower.
The 22-story Paradise Tower is just off the casino floor and features views of the Las Vegas Strip. Guestrooms in this tower include refrigerators.
The 21-story Island Tower is located near the Tropicana Convention Facilities and the five-acre tropical gardens and pool area; it is connected to the main casino by an enclosed walkway lined with specialty boutiques.
The low-rise Garden Tower overlooks a five-acre garden/pool area with tropical foliage, waterfalls, and pools.

McCarran International Airport (LAS): Approximate driving time to Tropicana Hotel and Casino is 8 minutes and distance is 3 miles.
Driving directions from McCarran International Airport:
- Exit the airport via Paradise Rd, then bear right onto Swenson St.
- Turn left on E Tropicana Ave and drive for about 1.4 miles.
- The hotel is on the left; make a U-turn or go around the block to reach it.
Getting there: The best way to get to the Tropicana is by taxi ($5–$15; fees subject to change without notice) or rental car.
Getting around: There are several options available for visiting other casinos on the Strip. City buses (less than $5) run up and down the Strip; private trollies (less than $5) serve many of the larger casinos. Many guests choose to walk. Taxis are readily available, and guests who drive will find complimentary parking at most locations. For travel outside the Strip, a rental car is the best option. The Las Vegas Monorail ($5) operates along the Las Vegas resort corridor connecting major resort properties and the convention center. The average speed is 16 miles per hour, or 15 minutes to complete the 4-mile run. Stations are: MGM Grand, Bally’s/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah’s/Imperial, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The monorail operates from 7 AM to 2 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 3 AM on weekends. Daily, multi-day, and multi-ride passes are available.
